Anglers across the US and Canada can testify that Strike Assists help put more fish in the boat
Lite bites, whiffs, swings and misses — whatever you call them, we've all been there!
For the past two seasons, I've been using a product called Strike Assist. In simple terms, it's a device with a tuned spring that helps the hooks on your bait get deeper into a fish's mouth. When a fish bites, it creates suction, and Strike Assist takes advantage of that to give you a much better shot at a solid hookup.
I haven't kept detailed stats, but I haven't needed to — the difference has been obvious. My hookup ratio has noticeably improved, the number of whiffs has dropped, and I'm consistently finding my baits set much deeper in the fish's mouth.
I started with just a couple, mainly on spoon rigs. Now, I run them on every rod that touches the water in Lake Ontario. For me, seeing is believing — and I'm a believer. I highly recommend Strike Assist.
(Strike Assist) is an innovative product that we have been using when the bites been tough and definitely in tournaments. The Strike Assist is the real deal and makes a difference. We were part of the comparison test trials when we would run a side with and without, with all things being equal. On all 6 occasions aboard the V.Q. the SA side outperformed the non-SA side when documenting bites and bite VS land ratios. That performance was proven on multiple charter boat trips on Lake Ontario, Michigan and Erie. They help put more fish in the net!
